Italy is set to be represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with the song "Per sempre sì", written by Alessandro La Cava, Eugenio Maimone, Francesco Sorrentino, Federica Abbate, Federico Mercuri, Giordano Cremona and Salvatore Michael Sorrentino, and performed by Sorrentino under his stage name Sal Da Vinci. The Italian participating broadcaster, Radiotelevisione italiana (RAI), selected its entry for the contest through the Sanremo Music Festival 2026.
As a member of the "Big Four", Italy automatically qualifies to compete in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest.
