Ise Province

Ise Province (伊勢国, Ise no Kuni; Japanese pronunciation: [iꜜ.se (no kɯ.ɲi)]) was a province of Japan that covered most of the area of modern-day Mie Prefecture. Ise bordered on Iga, Kii, Mino, Ōmi, Owari, Shima, and Yamato Provinces. Its abbreviated form name was Seishū (勢州).
