The National Tourism Development Authority of Ireland, operating as Fáilte Ireland, supports the development and promotion of tourism within Ireland, and undertakes tourism marketing, training and research activities. It was established under the National Tourism Development Authority Act of 2003 to replace and build upon the functions of Bord Fáilte, its predecessor organisation.
