Ion Irimescu (27 February 1903 – 28 October 2005) was a Romanian sculptor and sketcher. From 1992, he was an honorary member of the Romanian Academy. In 2001 he was awarded the Prize of Excellence for Romanian Culture. He is often referred to as the "patriarch of Romanian art and sculpture".
