Interleukin 35 (IL-35) is an anti-inflammatory cytokine from the IL-12 family largely produced by regulatory T and B cells (Tregs and Bregs respectively). IL-35 can block the development of Th1 and Th17 cells by limiting early T cell proliferation and has been shown to play a role in immune suppression.
