legislature, enacted_by.The Indonesian electoral act of 2017, also known in Indonesia as Undang-Undang Pemilu, is the law regulating elections in Indonesia. Officially, it is known as the Act Number 7 of 2017 (Undang-Undang Nomor 7 Tahun 2017, or UU 7/2017). The act was passed in July 2017 following nine months of debate in the People's Representative Council.
On 12 December 2022, an amendment of the act, Government Regulation in Lieu of Act No. 1/2022 issued. Subsequent amendment of the act, Act No. 7/2023 published on 24 May 2023.
