In the Steppes of Central Asia (Russian: В Средней Азии, romanized: V Sredney Azii, lit. 'In Middle Asia') is a symphonic poem (or "musical tableau") composed by Alexander Borodin in 1880, which he dedicated to Franz Liszt.
