"Icky Thump" is a song by American rock duo the White Stripes from their sixth and final album, Icky Thump (2007). It was released as the album's lead single by Warner Bros. and XL in April 2007. "Icky Thump" was written by Jack White and composed by the band. It is a heavy garage rock piece with lyrics challenging anti-immigration pundits for their hypocrisy.
"Icky Thump" was acclaimed and won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal; it peaked at number 26 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number two on the UK singles chart, and was certified platinum. It was ranked by Rolling Stone and Triple J as one of the best songs of 2007.
