The Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration (Icelandic: Vegagerðin [ˈvɛːɣaˌcɛrðɪn] ) is a government agency in Iceland which has legal ownership and responsibility over construction, management and maintenance of highways (including major urban highways), minor roads and harbours. It is part of the Ministry of Infrastructure and was established in 1918.
