Introduced by then-CEO Steve Jobs on January 9, 2007, the iPhone revolutionized the mobile phone industry with its multi-touch interface and lack of physical keyboard. Over the years, Apple has released numerous models, each iteration bringing changes in hardware, software, performance and design.

As of 2026, the most recent iPhone models are the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, released on September 19, 2025, and the entry-level iPhone 17e, released on March 11, 2026.
