Hosein Alā (Persian: حسین علاء; 13 December 1881 – 13 July 1964) was an Iranian politician and statesman who served as Prime Minister of Iran in two terms. He also served as the foreign minister of Iran from 1943 to 1945, and as the Iranian Ambassador to the United States from 1945 to 1950.
