Holden G. Karnofsky (born 1980 or 1981) is an American nonprofit executive. Karnofsky co-founded the charity evaluator GiveWell with Elie Hassenfeld in 2007. He co-founded in 2014 the grantmaking organization Open Philanthropy (now called Coefficient Giving), and was its CEO and later co-CEO until 2023. He joined Anthropic in 2025.
