Hernani, officially the Municipality of Hernani (Waray: Bungto han Hernani; Tagalog: Bayan ng Hernani), is a municipality in the province of Eastern Samar, Philippines. According to the 2024 census, it has a population of 8,296 people.

It was formerly called Nag-as, after the name of the river flowing southeast of the town center.
