Herman of Valaam (Russian: Герман Валаамский) was a Russian monk who is venerated as a saint of the Russian Orthodox Church. Herman of Valaam and Sergius of Valaam are considered to be the founders of the Valaam Monastery. The exact date of the establishment of the monastery is unknown, with dates ranging from the 10th to 15th centuries.
