The Citadel of Herat (Pashto: د هرات قلعه, Dari: قلعه هرات), locally known as Arg-e Herat (Pashto: د هرات ارگ, Dari: ارگ هرات), or Qala-ye Ikhtiaruddin (Pashto: د اختيار الدين قلعه, Dari: قلعه اختیارالدين), is a fort located in the center of Herat in Afghanistan.
