Heptachord

Heptachord, from Greek heptachordos, from ancient greek ἑπτάχορδος (heptákhordos, "seven-stringed"), from ἑπτά (heptá, "seven") + χορδή (khordḗ, "chord"), is a 7-stringed lyre of ancient Greece, the interval of a seventh, or a (diatonic) scale of seven notes or tones.
