Hemolytic disease of the newborn (anti-Rhc) is a type of hemolytic disease of the newborn (HDN). It can range from a mild to a severe disease. Although "little c" only affects 7 in 10,000 pregnancies, about 20–30% of the babies have severe disease, so it is the second most common cause of severe HDN.
