It is their first album under the name the War and Treaty, and second overall after 2016's Love Affair under the name Trotter & Blount. Produced and recorded by Buddy Miller, Healing Tide peaked at number 11 on the US Billboard Top Heatseekers Albums chart and at number twenty-six on the Independent Albums chart.
