Altstadt (German pronunciation: [ˈaltˌʃtat] ⓘ, lit. 'Old town'), more precisely Hamburg-Altstadt – as not to be mistaken with Hamburg-Altona-Altstadt – is one of the inner-city districts of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Germany.
