The General Electric GEnx ("General Electric Next-generation") is an advanced dual rotor, axial flow, high-bypass turbofan jet engine in production by GE Aerospace. It is one of two engine options available for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and it was also produced for the Boeing 747-8. The GEnx succeeds the CF6 in GE's product line.
