Gay Lynn Bennion is an American politician who served as a member of the Utah House of Representatives from the 41st district. Elected in November 2020, she assumed office on January 1, 2021. In November 2025 she was elected as mayor of Cottonwood Heights, Utah, defeating incumbent Mayor Mike Weichers.
