Gairo (Sardinian: Gàiru) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ogliastra in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) northeast of Cagliari and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Tortolì. As of 1st January 2025, it had a population of 1,269 and an area of 78.4 square kilometres (30.3 mi2).
