Frederick Towgood ( 5 October 1807 – 27 June 1860) was an English businessperson, writer, and social reformer. He advocated for temperance and vegetarianism. He also explored interests in phrenology, mesmerism, homeopathy, hydropathy, and physiology. Towgood served as president of the Anthropological Society of London, the City of London Temperance Society, and the London Vegetarian Association.
