Foreign relations of the Arab League

The Arab League is generally considered to have 23-25 state members alongside 5-7 candidates and observers; such as Armenia; Chad; Eritrea; Malta; and Venezuela. The Arab League itself is an observer in several international and regional organizations, such as the United Nations, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, the African Union, the Non-Aligned Movement, and has observed several summits of ASEAN.
