Fireman Sam (Welsh: Sam Tân) is a British animated children's television series about a fireman named Sam Jones, his fellow firefighters, and other residents of the fictional Welsh village of Pontypandy (a portmanteau of two real towns, Pontypridd and Tonypandy). Originally animated using stop motion, the series has been computer animated since 2008.
