Eugène Etienne (French: [øʒɛn etjɛn]; 15 December 1844 – 13 May 1921) was a French politician who was a deputy from 1881 to 1919, Undersecretary of Colonies in 1887 and again from 1889 to 1892, Minister of War in 1913, and a Senator from 1920 until his death. He was known as a defender of French Algeria and a promoter of colonial expansion.
