Escalante, officially the City of Escalante (Cebuano: Dakbayan sa Escalante; Hiligaynon: Dakbanwa sang Escalante; Filipino: Lungsod ng Escalante), is a component city in the province of Negros Occidental, Philippines. According to the 2024 census, it has a population of 97,050 people. The city celebrates the annual "Manlambus Festival" every 30th of May.
