Enos (Book of Mormon prophet)

Enos (/ˈiːnəs/; Hebrew: אֱנוֹשׁ) is a figure in the Book of Mormon who is a son or grandson of Jacob, a Nephite prophet and author of the Book of Enos. According to the Book of Mormon, Enos lived sometime during the 5th century BC, writing his record near his death 179 years after Lehi left Jerusalem, or around 421 BC.
