Elstree & Borehamwood railway station is located in the town of Borehamwood, in Hertfordshire, England; the nearby village of Elstree lies 1.3 miles (2.1 km) to the south-west. The station is a stop on the Midland Main Line, 12 miles 35 chains (20.0 km) down the line from London St Pancras; it is situated between Mill Hill Broadway to the south and Radlett to the north.
Elstree & Borehamwood is also the first station down the line that is located outside the Greater London area; however, it is within London fare zone 6.
The station is managed by Govia Thameslink Railway, which also operates services on the Thameslink route.
