Eighteen Nation Committee on Disarmament

The Eighteen Nation Committee on Disarmament (ENDC) was sponsored by the United Nations in 1961. The ENDC considered disarmament, confidence-building measures and nuclear test controls. Between 1965 and 1968, the ENDC negotiated the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
