The film stars Geena Davis, Jeff Goldblum, Jim Carrey, Damon Wayans, Julie Brown, Charles Rocket and Michael McKean. The plot is based on the song "Earth Girls Are Easy" from Brown's 1984 EP Goddess in Progress.
