Dorothy Semenow

Dorothy Ann Semenow is an American chemist, psychologist, and women's rights activist. She was the first woman to earn a PhD from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). Semenow has also been a strong proponent of the women's rights movement, having consulted for the leadership of Los Angeles NOW.
