Iraq–Europe Development Road

The Iraq–Europe Development Road (Arabic: طريق التنمية, romanized: Ṭarīq al-tanmiyah) is an ongoing strategic megaproject in Iraq aiming to establish the country as a gateway connecting West Asia with Europe by developing networks of railways, highways, ports, and cities. Among its projects, is to build an economic corridor linking the Grand Faw Port in Basrah with Europe through Turkey.
