The deputy prime minister of the Republic of Korea (Korean: 대한민국의 부총리) is a senior member of the Cabinet of South Korea that serves as the deputy to the prime minister. The senior deputy prime minister acts for the prime minister in the event of an impeachment or vacancy. Koo Yun-cheol currently serves as deputy prime minister of Economy while Bae Kyung-hoon as deputy prime minister of Science and ICT.
