David Douglas Garrard (born February 14, 1978) is an American former professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He played college football for the East Carolina Pirates and was selected by the Jaguars in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL draft. Garrard became the team's starter in 2007 and led them to their first playoff win since 1999. He also earned Pro Bowl honors in 2009. Following his release from Jacksonville, Garrard spent one season as a backup with the New York Jets.
