Daniel Christopher Rocco (born July 16, 1960) is an American football coach. He is a senior offensive analyst for the Virginia Tech Hokies. Rocco served as the head football coach at Liberty University from 2006 to 2011, the University of Richmond from 2012 to 2015, the University of Delaware from 2017 to 2021, and the Virginia Military Institute from 2023 to 2025. He was assistant coach for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL) in 2000. Rocco played college football as a linebacker, first at Pennsylvania State University before transferring to Wake Forest University.
