He has performed and composed for artists including Maria Bethânia, Milton Nascimento, Gal Costa, Ivan Lins, Barbra Streisand, Dionne Warwick and Paulinho da Viola. Bastos has been nominated for a Latin Grammy and has won 6 Brazilian Music Awards.
