Courtney Lanair Brown (born February 14, 1978) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) for six seasons, primarily with the Cleveland Browns. He played college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions, earning unanimous All-American honors and winning Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year in 1999. Brown was selected by Cleveland first overall in the 2000 NFL draft, but his tenure was marked by injuries, leading to his release after five seasons. He spent his final season with the Denver Broncos.
