The Constitution of Kuwait (Arabic: الدستور الكويتي, romanized: ad-distūr al-Kuwayti, Gulf Arabic pronunciation: [ɪddɪstuːr ɪlkweːti]) was framed by the Constitutional Assembly in 1961–1962 and signed into law on 11 November 1962 by the Emir, the Commander of the Military of Kuwait Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salim Al-Sabah.
