Clothing in ancient Egypt
Ancient Egyptian clothing comprises the garments, jewelry, footwear, and wigs worn by individuals in Egypt from the end of the Neolithic period (prior to 3100 BC) to the collapse of the Ptolemaic Kingdom in 30 BC. Recognizable aspects of ancient Egyptian clothing include white linen kilts, sheath dresses, bag-tunics, and mantles; usekh collars; sandals; and wigs.
