Chryselephantine sculpture

Chryselephantine sculptures (from Ancient Greek χρυσός (khrusós) 'gold' and ἐλεφάντινος (elephántinos) 'ivory') are sculptures made with gold and ivory. Chryselephantine cult statues enjoyed high status in Ancient Greece.
