Choysky District (Russian: Чо́йский райо́н; Altay: Чоо аймак, Çoo aymak) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the ten in the Altai Republic, Russia. It is located in the north of the republic. The district covers 4,526 square kilometers (1,747 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Choya. As of the 2010 Census, the district's total population was 8,348, with Choya accounting for 23.0% of that number.
