The chief of the general staff (CGS) of the Bangladesh Army is one of the two second highest position in the army headquarters who overseas the operational reports of the military. Chief of general staff is also one of the four principal staff officers who assist the chief of army staff along with the adjutant general, the quartermaster general, and the master general of ordnance of the army.
