The Chief Scout is the nominal head of the Scout Association's youth programmes. Appointed for a five-year tenure, the position is now non-executive, typically held by a well-known public figure who serves as a role model for young members of the Scout Movement. Since September 2024, the Chief Scout has been the British adventurer and TV presenter Dwayne Fields.
