Chelmsford railway station serves the city of Chelmsford, Essex, in the East of England. It is on the Great Eastern Main Line, 29 miles 60 chains (47.9 km) from London Liverpool Street, between Ingatestone to the west and Beaulieu Park to the east.
The station is managed by Greater Anglia, which also operates all trains serving it as part of the East Anglia franchise. Westbound trains terminate at Liverpool Street and eastbound trains run to Braintree, Clacton-on-Sea, Colchester Town, Ipswich and Norwich.
