Charles Dickinson (December 20, 1780 – May 30, 1806) was an American attorney and slave trader. He was killed by future President Andrew Jackson in a duel which wounded both of them. An expert marksman, Dickinson was shot in the chest by Jackson due to a protracted disagreement which originated in an incident involving a horse which the future president owned.
