Chaltyr (Russian: Чалтырь, Armenian: Չալթր) is a rural locality (a selo) in Myasnikovsky District of Rostov Oblast, Russia. Population: nearly 17,000. It is also the administrative center of Myasnikovsky District and the largest settlement in the district.
