Celine: Through the Eyes of the World is a documentary–concert film chronicling the life of Canadian singer Celine Dion during her 2008–2009 Taking Chances World Tour. It premiered in Miami on 16 February 2010 and was released in North American theaters by The Hot Ticket on 17 February 2010. The film was also shown in Australia and the United Kingdom. Critical reception was mixed, with reviewers noting that it primarily appeals to fans. Celine: Through the Eyes of the World grossed $1,027,341 in Canada and became the number‑one domestic film there.
The film was released on DVD and Blu‑ray on 29 April 2010 in Australia and in early May 2010 in Europe and North America. The home‑media edition includes an additional hour of footage not shown during the limited theatrical run. In Francophone markets, it was issued as Céline: autour du monde. The DVD/Blu‑ray release proved commercially successful, reaching number one in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Belgium, and number two in the United States, France, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Sweden, Argentina, and South Africa. It also charted inside the top 10 in several other countries. The release was certified double diamond in Canada, platinum in France, and gold in the United States and Australia.
