Category of abelian groups

In mathematics, the category ${\displaystyle \mathbf {Ab} }$ has the abelian groups as objects and group homomorphisms as morphisms. This is the prototype of an abelian category: indeed, every small abelian category can be embedded in ${\displaystyle \mathbf {Ab} }$.
