Carrowdore (from Irish CeathrĂș Dobhair, meaning 'water quarter') is a village on the Ards Peninsula in County Down, Northern Ireland. It is situated in the townland of Ballyrawer, the civil parish of Donaghadee and the historic barony of Ards Lower. It lies within the Ards and North Down Borough, 6 miles (10 km) east of Newtownards. It had a population of 1,052 people in the 2021 census.
